Sweet corn "Belogorye Gourmand" - Zea mays.
Each plant forms 4 cobs with large and sweet grains.
An early-ripening variety of sweet corn, 72-75 days from emergence to technical ripeness. Plants 145-150 cm high form cobs weighing 140-200 g with large and very sweet grains. The grain shell is thin, the consistency is tender. The variety is intended for use in boiled and canned form. Suitable for freezing. The taste qualities of such products are excellent. Yield – 4.5 kg/m2.
Value of the variety: excellent taste. Contains sugars and starch, proteins, vitamins C, B1, B2, PP. The grain is used for food in the phase of milky-wax ripeness in boiled, canned and frozen form.
Agrotechnics.
Before sowing, the seeds are soaked. In temperate climates, 20-day-old potted seedlings can be grown.
Sowing to a depth of 3-4 cm. Young plants are slightly hilled up after rain or watering to form additional roots at the bottom of the stem.
